Our mission is to bring volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low-income New Yorkers. For nearly 20 years, Rebuilding Together NYC has engaged volunteers in the work of rebuilding homes and community spaces throughout the five boroughs. Whether you are a seasoned professional, a weekend regular, or a school, religious, or corporate group, your involvement is essential to the work we do and we need your help! Please read on to learn more about volunteer opportunities with RT NYC.

Volunteer as a Group

Volunteering as a group is a great way to get involved in the community. Rebuilding Together NYC accommodates groups of all sizes by matching small groups with home rebuild projects and large groups with community center or clustered home rebuild projects. Whether yours is a school, religious, non-profit, or corporate group, we have a project that works for you. To register your group, please complete our Group Volunteer Registration Form.

Volunteer as an Individual

In 2017, Rebuilding Together NYC will offer Monthly Rebuilding Days (MRDs) for individual volunteers looking to get involved. MRDs provide an open invitation for anyone, regardless of construction experience, to volunteer on our project sites, learn something new, and give back to the community in an incredibly visible way. If you would like to learn more about individual volunteer opportunities or to become a more regular volunteer, please complete our Individual Volunteer Registration Form.
